The Hickman County Museum is housed in the 1870s home of Captain Henry C. Watson of the Confederate 7th Kentucky Infantry Regiment.  The museum features a collection of Civil War items, that includes cannon balls and musket balls from Columbus, an 1860 Union Cavalry sabre, a .58 Union bayonet and scabbard, and an original 1864 muster roll of Co. "C" fo the 12th KY Cavalry Regiment CSA, which served under Gen. Nathan Bedford Forrest.  The museum is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 1PM to 4PM or by appointment (270)653-6566.
