Once in a lifetime event that will take place during the 2008 Battle of Sacramento.
The Union Cemetery is located at Camp Calhoun, Calhoun, Kentucky.

Individual headstones have been set for each of the soldiers that are buried here.
The headstones include the date they died and the regiment they served.

The dedication will include:
  • cannonade
  • reading of the "Honor Roll" by period reenactors
  • and a 21-gun salute.
The day will start with a parade down Main Street in Sacramento at 9:00 AM (CST), followed by buses waiting to take everyone to Camp Calhoun for the dedication. The dedication is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM (CST). The Battle of Sacramento festivities will continue after the dedication.

NOTE: The dedication, Battle of Sacramento and the debate between Lincoln and Davis will be recorded for a special documentary by a 2x Emmy Award winner. This video will be made available to schools as well as the general public. Come be a part of this extraordinary event!
