ELK VIEWING

One of the best places to view elk in Eastern Kentucky is at Mine Made Paradise Adventure Park.

  • Premier spots are near the ATV Safety Training Center and Campground areas along Elk View Drive and near the site of the Spring and Fall Trail Rides.
  • The best time to view elk is at sunrise and at dusk especially in early Spring, Fall, and Winter.

Other Wildlife Viewing Opportunities:

  • The Littcarr Wildlife Viewing Area features beaver, belted Kingfisher, wood ducks and other wetland wildlife.
  • Robinson Forest, a 10,000 acre research site offers a nature trail where one can see many migratory songbirds.
