Appalachian Artisan Center

The Appalachian Artisan Center is located in historic downtown Hindman and is home to an extensive selection of handcrafted items.

Every 2 months, the Shop displays the work of a new "featured artist" and 10 artists regularly sell their unique works, bringing in new items all the time, keeping the palette of the shops fresh with jewelry, pottery, woven rugs, books, paintings, photographs, furniture, walking sticks, toys, quilts, baskets and much more. The Appalachian Artisan Center Cafe' is located inside the Shop serving a variety of Kentucky made products, coffee and pastries.
The Appalachian Artisan Center of Kentucky, Inc. is dedicated to building and strengthening of an arts-based economy through marketing, education and support services for artistts in eastern Kentucky.
