Destination Polaris arrived on Saturday and filmed a segment for their television show. Local sponsors on-site included Pikeville RV, YPK Motorsports from Jackson KY and Andy’s Cycle out of Hazard.

In October of 2010, ATV Magazine held the 2011 ATV Trials at the Mine Made Park. Tom Kaiser of ATV Magazine said, "It's a fantastic riding area that will open to the public in the Spring of 2011, and we loved the mountainous trails which were a great venue for testing the latest crop of quads from the 2011 model year."
