Migratory waterfowl, some songbirds on the moist soil units, rabbit and quail hunting. Learning center, interpretive hiking trals and various wildlife habitat vegetative plants to view. Hiking, 80-acre lake with bank fishing, launching ramp, 2 smaller lakes, picnic areas. Camping on designated sites only.

Wendell H. Ford Regional Training Center

1 Tract (Sinclair) contains waterfowl refuge around Goose Lake. Rough terrain from swampland to high ridges and deep pits; mostly reclaimed coal land with numerous excavated ridges and water-filled strip mine pits. Excellent birding and fishing opportunities. Deer, turkey, waterfowl, small game, quail. Horseback riding trails in Muhlenberg and Ohio County.
Yellowbank WMA

Rough River Lake WMA

Fort Knox Military Reservation

60% is open to hunting under special regulations. Active military reservation. 120 miles of road. Rolling upland, broad ridge tops, narrow valleys with steep to sloping cliffs. Hardwood forests. Trout streams and several lakes available for fishing.
