The forth and current Graves County courthouse was built between 1888-89. The designers for the courthouse were H.P. McDonald Brothers of Louisville.
The building has an elaborate Victorian design which deviates from their standard courthouse design. The final cost for the building including the surrounding iron fence was $40,000.
